An exhibition featuring architectural compositions made of household objects by Canadian artist Dave Trautrimas will open at LE Gallery in Toronto. The project hypothesizes the origins of iconic modern appliances by reassembling them into top secret, Cold War era military outposts. These structures are hybrids of both machinery and architecture that stand as colossal weaponized ancestors to common objects such as refrigerators, lawnmowers and washing machines.
